By using BillByText, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use our service.

 

1. What BillByText Does

BillByText is a service that lets you create QuickBooks invoices and customers by sending email commands. We connect to your QuickBooks account and execute the actions you request.

2. Your Account and Responsibilities

You Must:

  • Provide accurate information when signing up
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Only use the service for legitimate business purposes
  • Comply with QuickBooks’ terms of service
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

You Cannot:

  • Share your account with others
  • Use the service to violate any laws
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload our systems
  • Create fraudulent invoices or customers
  • Use the service to spam or harass others

3. QuickBooks Integration

  • You authorize us to access your QuickBooks account
  • We only perform actions you explicitly request via email or text
  • You can revoke access at any time through QuickBooks or by contacting us
  • You remain responsible for all QuickBooks data and compliance

4. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • We’ll notify you of planned maintenance when possible
  • Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

5. Payments and Billing

  • Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance
  • Prices may change with 30 days’ notice
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Service suspension may occur for non-payment after 7 days

6. Data and Privacy

  • You own all your business data
  • We process data according to our Privacy Policy
  • You’re responsible for backing up important data
  • We may delete data from terminated accounts after 30 days

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of your business data
  • NordCFO LLC owns the BillByText software and service
  • You grant us permission to use your data only to provide the service
  • Our trademarks and copyrights remain our property

8. Limitations and Disclaimers

Service “As Is”

  • BillByText is provided “as is” without warranties
  • We don’t guarantee error-free operation
  • You use the service at your own risk

Limitation of Liability

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • This includes lost profits, data loss, or business interruption

What We Don’t Control

  • QuickBooks service availability or changes
  • Email delivery or internet connectivity
  • Third-party integrations or services

9. Termination

You Can:

  • Cancel your subscription at any time
  • Download your data before cancellation
  • Disconnect QuickBooks integration

We Can Terminate If:

  • We discontinue the service (with 30 days’ notice)
  • You violate these terms
  • You don’t pay subscription fees

10. Support and Updates

  • Basic email support is included with all plans
  • We may update the service to add features or fix issues
  • Major changes will be communicated in advance
  • Continued use after updates means you accept the changes

11. Legal Stuff

Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by [Your State] law
  • Disputes will be resolved in [Your State] courts

Entire Agreement

  • This EULA and our Privacy Policy constitute the complete agreement
  • Supersedes all previous agreements or communications

Changes

  • We may update these terms with reasonable notice
